In last weeks tips and training we talked about building lasting and profitable relationships from the stand point of those people you bring into your business through advertising.

This week I wanted to talk about the second approach which is attracting business partners through research. The steps are as follows…

· Pick a niche that you know something about and research it through Google, yahoo and the like

· Then read through the results listing making notes of services and products offered. Pay special attention to contact info.

· If there is a place to leave a comment…do so with a link back to your site. Comment should be relative to the site and maybe helpful to persons reading your comment. The link back to your site will also help with your search engine rankings.

· Contact the site owner through email again with something relevant to his site but maybe offering some info that might be helpful to enhancing his business. Make sure you put your contact info in there.

· Comment on Blogs relative to that niche and forums as well with a signature line back to your site. This will get your name out In front of people where it needs to be.

If this is all done in a helpful professional manner you can not help but build your business. Serious Online Marketers are always looking for new info that will help them build their businesses and you need to be the one providing it.

In this weeks post I wanted to talk a little about building lasting and profitable relationships which will help build your business.

We will look at this topic from 2 different angles. One angle is from the standpoint of building relationships with people you bring into your business through traffic exchanges, safelist ads or what ever type of advertising you find effective. The other angle is through research. We will talk about the first this week and the second next week. Fair enough? Okay...here we go. There are a couple of key points to keep in mind when attempting to create more lasting and profitable relationships The first involves new info which creates value for the new prospect. The second envolves providing that info in a correct and friendly manner.

Here is what I suggest you do. Write down all of the benefits of your chosen product or program that create value for you or would create value for a potential business partner. Secondly, write down a list of value points about yourself that might set you above the rest as a mentor. Then call the individual on the phone and begin the friendship building process. You can do this by welcoming them to the program and letting them know you want to get to know them a little bit.

The way to do that which works best for me is something called FORM. F=Family, O=Occupation(what do they do for a living, what do they like most and what do they like least about current situation. R=Recreation (What type of hobbies they have) and M=Movtivation( Why they are looking at a possible home based business.) This will get your prospect talking about themselves and after all people love to talk about themselves. It will also help breakdown the natural barrier that a lot of people have toward people they do not know well. Hence you are developing a relationship or friendship.

Once you have created this atmosphere, you will have a general idea how your program can create value and benefits which will help them achieve what ever goals they have in mind. Once your prospect see’s the value and benefits of working with you, they will continue to be a part of an active team. If you take the things I have said here and apply them, you will notice your business will continue to grow and become more successful each month.

Over the past few months I have talked about and discussed a very effective marketing system and the steps to set it up, many tools, procedures and ideas. We also discussed the step by step procedure on how to write effective goals and why goal setting is so important to not only your online success but success in life in general. But the best marketing system, tools, concepts, practices etc mean Nothing…Zilch…Nada if there is no motivation to take Action! That is the key…without that, nothing else matters.

You see my friends, Action and consistency is the key to success in anything in life. Your Online Business is no different! You must be motivated to take action in order to realize the power in the material I have set forth in previous issues. More on previous issues at the end of this article.

So I thought I would propose a little exercise that might help you to create the inner desire…the motivation if you will to stop the procrastination and DO IT NOW! Take Action!

Here is what I would like you to do. Take out a piece of paper and I want you to think real hard & be honest. Write down the top 20 reasons why you have chosen to earn an income online through a home based business. If you can not come up with 20, come up with as many as you can. Then go through and take the top 3, the ones that create the most clear imagery, passion and desire in your heart. Then get 3 3x5 index cards and write those 3 reasons on each index card. This way you will have 3 index cards with your top 3 reasons on each of them. Then place 1 index card on your bathroom mirror where you will see it at the end of each night and first thing in the morning. Take a second card and put it on the dash or visor of your automobile where you can see it multiple times during the day. The last card keep on your person at all times. Refer to it at least 2 times per day. What you will be doing is actually programming your mind for success. After several weeks, you will find yourself doing things automatically that will position yourself to be successful
